So I got my new Mac.
And he shall be henceforth called Castiel.
BUT. I took my removable HD (Sam) and plugged him into Davy Jones (the Dell). Saved the stuff that hadn't yet been saved. Plugged it into Castiel to transfer the information. And it comes up as nothing is saved. Plugged it back into Davy Jones and he won't even read it. I mean... I get the whole Macs VS PC thing, but... anyone know how to get around this? Or at least get the Dell to read the HD so that I can make sure stuff is all backed up still?
EDIT: Figured out what happened. Castiel decided Sam was supposed to be a 'Time Machine Backup' and made him such, thus wiping what I had. HOWEVER. Is there a way I can get the Dell to read it again so I can use it to save stuff? Or am I going to have to get a new HD for the Dell?
